Fabrizio Romano has once again confirmed with his iconic “here we go” that José Mourinho has signed a three‑year contract with Real Madrid and will arrive in Madrid next week.

Romano wrote: Real Madrid has extended Mourinho’s contract by one more year until 2029.

As reported on Monday, the deal has been finalized and completed – approved by both Mourinho’s and Real Madrid’s lawyers.

Mourinho will arrive in Madrid next week. ✅

The 63‑year‑old Mourinho will replace Arbeloa, who took charge of Real Madrid in January this year and led the team in 27 matches in total.

During the three seasons from 2010 to 2013, Mourinho coached Real Madrid in 178 matches, with 127 wins, 28 draws and 23 losses, achieving a win rate of over 70%. During his tenure, he led the team to claim 1 La Liga title, 1 Copa del Rey title and 1 Spanish Super Cup title, and also achieved the feat of winning La Liga with a 100‑percent points haul.
